Alan A. Beam, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
Alan was born November 3, 1951, in Crestline, to the late Frank A. and Annette J. (Hoffman) Beam. He married Mary L. (Myers) Goodin in Tiffin on November 3, 2000 and she survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include his daughters, Cherish Beam of Florida and Stephenie (Robert) Williams of Gibsonburg, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Eileen (Denny) Ford of Pennsylvania.
Alan was machinist and loved to play golf. He enjoyed watching the Guardians, Browns, and Ohio State. He served as a Corporal in the United States Marines E4 during Vietnam. Alan received a National Defense Service Medal and a M-14 Rifle Marksmen Badge, a good conduct medal and a honorable discharge. He was a 1970 graduate of Crestline High School. Alan was a member of Tiffin Eagles, Amvets and American Legion.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no funeral services for Alan held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
