Allan T. Schoen, 76, of Attica, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Allan was born November 27, 1948, in Tiffin to the late Leo and Mildred (Swope) Schoen. He married Debra (Carry) Schoen at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin on December 27, 1974 and she survives in Attica.
Survivors include his children, Brian (Audra) Schoen of Jeromesville, OH and Jamie Schoen of Toledo, three grandchildren, Skyla (Shawn) Thompson, Clay and Brody Schoen, four great-grandchildren, Nova, Carmello, Maliyah, Jaliyah, a brother, Donald (Peggy) Schoen of Marion, two sisters, Pat (Bill) Oliver of Tiffin and Peggy (Ken) Carrick of Attica and a sister-in-law, Mildred Schoen of Tiffin.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Eugene Schoen and a sister, Ann Lucius.
Allan worked as a carpenter for Leo Schoen and later worked at RR Donnelly in Willard. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica and a Life member of the NRA. Allan enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching and feeding his birds. He liked nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to the Mass at church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Attica.
