Amelia Lusie Miles

Amelia Lusie Miles, 70, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Amelia was born on January 1, 1955 in Willard, to the late Thurman George and Rose Mae (Sweet) Beard. She married Michael Allen Miles in Bloomville, on May 31, 1975 and he survives in Bloomville.

Other survivors include her two sons, Michael Ray (TyAnn) Miles of Bloomville and Todd James (Jessica) Miles of Fostoria, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, James Eugene (Jennifer) Beard of Attica.

Amelia was retired from Whirlpool after 25 years of service with the company. She was a 1974 graduate of Seneca East High School who enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Belle Beard.

There will be a private family graveside service held at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
