Ann Bushfield, 83, of Romney, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 14, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Noblesville.
She was born October 13, 1942, in Attica, Ohio, to Victor and Virginia Ayres. Ann earned a B.S. from Kent State University and an M.S. from Purdue University. On June 20, 1964, she married Louis Bushfield Jr., who preceded her in death in March 1997.
Ann worked as a Computer Analyst Programmer at Purdue University for 44 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed cross-stitch, crochet, bowling, and searching for hard-to-find treasures at any thrift store she could discover, and was an eBay seller for many years. She also loved Garfield, the color purple, and watching Star Trek and Agatha Christie movies on TV.
She is survived by her daughter Vanda (Anthony) Paladino, and their two children, Christopher and Aurora. She is also survived by her son Victor Bushfield and his wife, Dr. Christine Henry, and their children Serenity and Skylar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette, IN, from 5-8:00pm.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation will also be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Attica-Venice cemetery.
