Anna Kathern "Katie" Conger

Anna Kathern “Katie” Conger, 87, of Bloomville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at The Willows of Tiffin.

Anna was born on August 10, 1938 in Bloom Township, to the late Cleo and Lena (Homler) Lutz. She married Robert Conger in Bloomville, on January 25, 1958 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2015.

Survivors include her children, Randy Conger of Tiffin, Rodney (Pam Lutz) Conger of Bloomville, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three brothers, Edward Lutz of Tiffin, George Lutz and William Lutz both of Bloomville, and two sisters, Jennifer Fatzinger and Deborah Fassler both of Tiffin.

Anna worked as a Bookkeeper for Frankart’s Garage, Bloomville Bank and a hairdresser. She was a 1956 graduate of Bloomville High School and was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ. Her most precious time was spent with family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Jerry and John Lutz and a sister, Sue Montgomery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m., until noon on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Farewell Retreat cemetery in Republic at 12:30 p.m.
