Anna M. Hill, 93, of Fort Seneca, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at The Willows of Tiffin.
Anna was born on June 2, 1930 in Hamburg, PA, to the late Claude E. and Verdie E. (Miller) Shollenberger. She married George H. Riehm on January 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1966, she then married Gerald W. Hill on June 15, 1979 and he survives in Fort Seneca.
Other survivors include her children, Sarah (Tim) Hessick of Tiffin, Paul Riehm of Tiffin, John (Diane) Riehm of Tiffin, David (Theresa) Riehm of Tiffin, a step-son, Charles Hill of Youngstown, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson a brother, Roy Shollenberger of Hamburg, PA,
Anna retired from St. Francis Rehab Hospital in Green Springs. She was a member of Fort Seneca Church, Farm Bureau, Kum Join Us Farm Bureau Federated Club and Millstream Wood Carvers. Anna was a 1948 graduate of Hamburg High School and later went on to graduate from Sandusky School of Practical Nursing in 1978.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, first husband George Riehm, a granddaughter, Monica M. Hessick, step-daughter, Geralyn Lang, two brothers, Ralph and Lee Shollenberger, four sisters, Flora Bachman, Mayetta Graff, Mary Akers and Laura Wolfe.
Funeral services for Anna will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2024 at Fort Seneca Community Church with Pastor Lamar Baker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Monday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. There will be a private family burial held at Pleasant Union cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
