Anna Marie Kagy

Anna Marie Kagy, 95, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Anna was born on August 4, 1925 in Tiffin, to the late William and Sarah A. (Williams-Aiken) Utz. She married Leonard E. Kagy in Bloomville on January 12, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2006.

Survivors include her children William (Joan) Kagy of Dublin, Larry (Diane) Kagy of Gahanna, Thomas (Tamara) Kagy of Norwalk, David (Beth) Kagy also of Bloomville, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren with one more due in September.

Anna retired from Heidelberg where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Bloomville United Church of Christ where she served as a former church secretary and was also involved with the Art Circle and Women's Guild at church. She was the former secretary of the Bloomville High School Alumni Association, Luella Chapter of the Eastern Star, Modern Mothers Club, the Dinette Set and the Heidelberg Lunch Bunch. Anna was a 1943 graduate of Bloomville High School and also attended Tiffin University.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard, a granddaughter, Nicole and four sisters, Vera James, Joanne Toepper, Janet Diebert and Evelyn Williams.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family will have private family funeral services at the Bloomville United Church of Christ. Burial will be held at Pleasant View cemetery in Bloomville. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomville United Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice.
