Arlene Stover, 89, of Bettsville, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
Arlene was born on January 22, 1934 in Green Springs, to the late Albert Leroy and Helen Gertrude (Conley) Moyer. She married Marvin Leroy Stover in Greenup, KY, on June 28, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2019.
Survivors include her three daughters, Tanya R. (Lee) Windau of Bettsville, Jo A. (Kirk) Steffanni of Bettsville, Judy A. (Grant) Kneeskern of Tiffin, seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Arlene was a homemaker and a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Bettsville where she played bells in the church choir and was involved with the Ohio Horseman Council. Her calling in life was to be a mother and grandmother.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Penny L. Stover, a brother, Vern Moyer and a twin-sister, Eileen Moyer.
Funeral services for Arlene will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Bettsville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Kansas cemetery at a later date.
