Arthur L. Caudill Sr.

Arthur Caudill Sr., 82, of Attica, passed away on April 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 18, 1941 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Cleveland Caudill and Dorthie (Johnson) Caudill Hall. On June 4, 1960, he married Shirlene Isaac who preceded him in death on May 31, 2022.

He is survived by his daughter, Thresa (Wayne) Arnold; and his son, Arthur (Buddy and Kristen) Caudill Jr., all of Attica; six grandchildren, Misty (Michael) Wiseman, Jenny Arnold, Josh (Renee) Arnold, Ethan Caudill, Paityn (Cody) Greenlee and Connor Caudill; six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Art is preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Brack Hall; sisters, Ethel Thornsberry Tuttle, Geraldine Sherrill, Bethel Bryant and Grethel Pitsenbarger; and brothers, Forrest, Everett, Cornelius, and Kenny Caudill.

Art retired after 41 years at Midwest Industries in Willard where he was a supervisor. He was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church, a past Worshipful Master and member of the Attica Masonic Lodge, and he was an avid golfer both in MTD work leagues and in retirement. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his canine companion, Lucky.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Attica United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Spyker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the services on Monday, at Attica Venice cemetery.
