Artys J. Miller

Artys J. Miller, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Artys was born February 25, 1946 in White City, Kansas, to the late Arthur and Norma (Sutter) Schmanke. She married John T. Miller in Carey, on November 3, 1984 and he survives.

Survivors include her son, Steve, (Lisa) Smith of Tiffin, a grandson, Cody Smith of Columbus, two sisters, Lindy (Randy) Richard of Adrian, MI and Sibyl (Jim) Schug of Billing, MT and many nieces and nephews.

Artys was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Schmanke.

Artys worked at Findlay Industries for 20 plus years and later was the owner/operator of Granni's Cleaning Services and also sold Avon. She was a member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge, VFW Auxiliary and the Seneca Muzzleloaders. Artys was a graduate of White City High School.

There will be a Celebration of Arty's life at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will also be visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time.
