Barbara S. "Sis" Kuhn

Barbara S. "Sis" Kuhn, 63, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Tiffin.

Barbara was born May 3, 1958, in Tiffin, to Richard A. and Carolyn J. (Valentine) Sharpe. Barb married Gene Kuhn on July 29, 1977, in Tiffin and he survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include her father, Richard A. Sharpe of Tiffin, a son, Randy (Penny) Kuhn of Tiffin, a daughter, Nicki (Derrick) Schreiner of New Riegel, seven grandchildren, a brother, Steven (Debbie) Sharpe of Bellevue and a sister, Louann (Larry Smelser) of Fostoria.

Barb was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn on January 7, 2016 and an infant son, Matthew Allen Kuhn on January 15, 1981.

Barb worked for twenty-nine years at the Tiffin Developmental Center as an aide. She was a 1975 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Barb enjoyed camping, traveling, especially traveling to Jamaica many times on vacation and loved being with her grandchildren.

Services for Barbara will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Rev. Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tiffin.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the I&E Fund at the Tiffin Developmental Center in honor of Barb Kuhn, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
