Barbara J. Stallings

Mrs. Barbara Jean “Barb” Stallings, née Armitage, 92, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Morningview at Irving Park in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Mrs. Stallings was born April 16, 1929, in Attica, Ohio, but lived most of her life in Tiffin, Ohio, where she raised her family and retired as a clerk at Seneca County Auditor's Office. She was a long time member at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She moved to Greensboro, NC, in 2007 to be with her daughter and her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Baird, and her husband David, of Greensboro, NC; granddaughter, Heather Garner, and her husband Kevin, of Raleigh, NC, with great grandchildren Jacob, Katelyn, and Madelyn; grandsons, Matthew Baird of Washington, DC, and Nathan Baird of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and sister, Elaine Funkhouser of Danville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stallings, and her parents Hayward and Velma Armitage.

A funeral service will be at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville, starting at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Burial will follow at Attica Venice Cemetery.
