Barbara T. Tiell

Barbara T. Tiell, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Hospital.

Barbara was born August 2, 1946, in Tiffin, to the late Ludwig and Theresa (Nye) Reinhart. She married Joseph Tiell at Frenchtown Catholic Church on August 6, 1966 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1983.

Other survivors include her children, Sherry (Tim) Runion, and Theresa Tiell both of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Joseph Snyder, Barbara Jo Brown, Melissa Guzman, two great-grandchildren, Beckett Guzman and Kylo Brown, three sisters, Rosemary Bland, Tillie Wentz and Martha Heyman all of Tiffin.

Barbara retired from Ameriwood and was a member of both Tiffin Moose Lodge and St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a 1964 graduate of New Riegel High School. Barbara’s two great-grandchildren where the light of her life!

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers, John, Carl, Paul and Robert Reinhart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to the Mass at Church. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will follow the services on Monday, at Seneca Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Hospital or Seneca County Humane Society.
