Beverly Jacqueline Kirby

Beverly Jacqueline Kirby, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her residence.

Beverly was born January 31, 1939, in Tiffin, to the late Howard and Evelyn (Carver) Jarvis. Beverly married Robert E. Kirby on April 6, 1954 in Tiffin, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2022.

Beverly is survived by her children, Scott (Kim) Kirby of Florida, Vickie (Tom) Heck of Tiffin, Steve Kirby, Gary (Roya) Kirby of Arizona and Kimberly (Chris) Johnson of Tiffin, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Arthur Jarvis, and a brother, Bill Hodges.

Beverly worked at Tiffin State Hospital and then the Tiffin Developmental Center from 1970 until 2000. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Beverly was an avid reader, a fantastic southern cook and enjoyed traveling to southern Ohio and West Virginia to the mountain areas. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services for Beverly will be at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Rev. Karsten Snitker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 2:30 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Friday, at Fairmont cemetery.
