Beverly A. Staib

Beverly A. (Werling) Staib, 80, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at The Courtyard of Tiffin.

Bev was born August 27, 1944 in Tiffin, to Andrew and Ruth (Ward) Werling. She married Paul “Sonny” Staib on October 19, 1968 in Tiffin, and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2019.

Bev is survived by a sister, Ruthann (Bob) Varvel of Kingston, OH, sister-in-law, Rose Werling of Findlay, brothers-in-law, Dale Frazier of Circleville and Bob Collins of Bloomdale, special kids, Adam, Abby and Anna Daniel and their parents, Kelly (Rod) Daniel of Tiffin and many nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Staib, two sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Borer and Pamela Frazier, a brother, Jim Werling, two nieces, Cindy Schulden and April Platt, two nephews, Jim Werling and Jim Borer.

Beverly worked at General Electric in Tiffin and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She also did a lot of babysitting for many families. Bev was a caring caregiver to many people. She was a 1962 graduate of Hopewell Loudon High School. Bev greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends also had a special love for her Amish friends who her and Paul had met, while camping.

Funeral services for Bev will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Chaplain Tom Dennis officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday, at Fairmont cemetery.
