It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Briggs Richard Bowerman, beloved newborn son of Ashton and Jordan Bowerman. Briggs passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital. Though his time with us was brief, he was deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
Briggs filled our hearts with a love deeper than words could ever express. He brought a sense of purpose, joy, hope, and meaning to our lives from the very beginning. His tiny hands and precious feet have left everlasting imprints on our hearts, and he will never be forgotten.
Briggs is lovingly remembered by his adoring siblings Barrett and Bexley Bowerman, grandparents Dave and Penny Daniel, and Rick and Sherri Bowerman, both of Attica; great grandparents, Richard and Nancy Reichert and Judy Daniel of Attica, Ronnie and Barb Bowerman of Republic, and Robert and Robin Keaton of Marion; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was greeted and embraced in Heaven by his great grandparents, Frank Daniel and Mary and Thomas Veletean.
Though our hearts ache for the memories we will never make and the moments we will never share, Briggs will be loved forever and missed beyond measure. His life, though brief, has infinitely impacted our family. We find comfort in knowing that he only knew love, and he will remain a treasured part of our family forever. Briggs was too perfect for this side of Heaven.
A private memorial service will be held for family at a later date. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Forget Me Not Baskets.
