Bruce A. Frankart

Bruce Allen Frankart, 66, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Bruce was born August 6th, 1956 in Tiffin, Ohio to Charles and Mildred (Pahl) Frankart. He married LeeAnn Spitzer on March 17, 1989 and they later divorced. He met Marilyn Harrell in October 2004 and they were married July 3rd, 2020 at their residence, and she survives in Tiffin.

He is survived by his three children, Aaron Frankart, Laura (Michael) Lux, and Cory Frankart. Additionally, he is survived by a granddaughter Matilda Lux and six brothers, Stephen ( Diana) Frankart of Bloomville, Randy (Nancy) Frankart of Bloomville, Douglas (Terri) Frankart of Tiffin, Gregory (Bonnie) Frankart of Bloomville, Lawrence (Andrea) Frankart of Republic, Brian Frankart of Tiffin, and sister-in-law Lynn Frankart of Tiffin. He is also survived by his former wife, LeeAnn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis.

Bruce retired from Webster Industries in June 2020 after working as a machinist for 45 years.

Bruce enjoyed practical jokes, going to flea markets and auctions, going on fishing and four wheeler trips with his brothers and friends, raising birds and livestock, and spending time in his shop creating unique pieces out of metal. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, positive outlook, and always being there for his family and friends.
He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin and a 1974 graduate of Mohawk High School.

Funeral services for Bruce will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, from 4-7PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral services on Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville.
