Carol A. Hossler

Carol A. Hossler, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Tiffin Rehabilitation.

Carol was born on December 23, 1937 in Tiffin, to the late Bernard and Ellen (Borer) Fleck. She married Ned Hossler at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin on July 13, 1957.

Other survivors include her children, Lynne (Michael) O’Brien of Huron and Gary (Dora) Hossler of Tiffin, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Bernadette Smith of Tiffin and Sue Hart of Florida.

Carol retired from Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital as a Secretary for Plant Engineering. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 1955 Tiffin Calvert High School graduate. She enjoyed collecting antiques and primitives, and just spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and mostly watching their sporting events.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Madeline Staib-Anderson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
