Carolyn Paddock Obituary

Carolyn S. Paddock, 77, of Tiffin, passed away at 3:55 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her residence after a hard fought battle with bladder cancer and now is at peace.

Carolyn was born on January 19, 1944 in Tiffin, to the late Fred and Irma (Craver) Myers. She married James L. Paddock at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin on April 30, 1971 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2017.

Survivors include her son, Andrew Paddock, a grandson, Ethan both of Columbus, three sisters, Janet (Joe) Biller, Mary (Gene) Traxler both of Tiffin and Arlene (Steve) Lawson of Ravenna. Carolyn is also survived by her beloved cat "Buffy".

Carolyn worked as a Loan Arranger at Bellevue Federal Credit Union and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Carolyn was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School, but most of she was a mom, grandma, wife, sister, aunt and so much more to everyone who knew her. She loved all animals but especially Tigers and cats. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be a private family Mass of Christian Burial held at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow the services, at St. Joseph cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, Toledo Zoo or to the Animal Welfare Institution.
