Carolyn S. “Sue” Paxton, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Elmwood at the Shawhan in Tiffin.
Carolyn was born February 19, 1940, in Tiffin, to the late Richard Herman and Pauline Herma (Kipps) Weber. She first married Benjamin F. Pratt Jr. and they later divorced and she married Francis Paxton and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Lori Ann Cole of New Riegel, Benjamin F. Pratt III of Findlay, four grandchildren, Danielle Lunn of Fostoria, Lucas Cooper of New Riegel, Tiffany (Hugo Dejesus) Pratt of Fostoria, Jeremy (Jessica) Pratt of Bluffton, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson, a brother, Steve (Debbie) Weber of Tiffin, a sister, Sharon Leifheit of Tiffin and her longtime partner, Denny Chaney of Tiffin.
Carolyn was a homemaker and a 1958 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lisa M. Pratt, husband, Francis Paxton and a brother, Richard Weber.
There will be a graveside service for Carolyn at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Arcadia Memory Gardens. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
