Carrie Gwen Smolik

Carrie Gwen Smolik, 65, of Tiffin, passed away at 6:58 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021 at her residence.

Carrie was born September 21, 1955, in Medina, OH, to Wayne John and Lois Mae (Kovar) Smolik.

Survivors include her mother, Lois Mae Smolik of Stongsville, a brother, Gerald Wayne Smolik of Broadview Heights, two nephews, Gabriel Wayne Smolik of Olmstead Falls, OH and Clinton Jared Smolik of Milton, DE.

Carrie was a labor relations consultant for the Ohio Educational Association and also worked as a Hearing Impaired Teacher. She was a 1974 graduate of Brunswick High School and also was a Bowling Green State University graduate.

Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Wayne John Smolik.

Per Carrie's wishes there will be no funeral services or burial held at this particular time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
