Cecil J. Beard

Cecil Joshua Beard, 74, of Attica, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1950 to the late Florence (Rapp) Klink and Cecil D. (Pete) Beard. Cecil attended Attica schools and graduated from Seneca East High School in 1972. He is survived by many distant cousins.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; his caring step-father Paul E. Klink; an infant brother; maternal grandparents, Mollie (Myers) and Loyal Rapp; paternal grandparents, Dora (Weiker) and Edward Beard; an uncle, Orrin Beard, and an aunt, Grace Beard Myers. There will be no services at this time. His burial will be held at the Seneca County Cemetery in Tiffin. 

The Seneca East High School Class of 1972 donated a book in his memory at the Seneca East Public Library in Attica and memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.
