Charles Victor McIntyre, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home in Inverness, Florida.
Charles is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley (Vance) McIntyre; children, Nancy (Paul) Grover, Debora (David) Gressman, Micheal (Cathy) Eschenbrenner, Cathy (Lenny) Steinbeigle, Diane Claar, David (Jena) Eschenbrenner, Mathew (Sarah) McIntyre, Jessica Williams, and Jennifer Elmer; daughter-in-law, Tammy McIntyre; brothers, Joseph, Robert, Richard, and Larry; sisters, Norma Costilla and Julia "Julie" Klingshirn; nineteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Justine; son, Douglas; sisters, Yvonne "Bonnie" Kisaberth and Katherine "Kate" Cooper; brother, Arthur McIntyre and grandson, David Claar III.
Charles' hobbies included Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals football, fishing, karaoke, Jams, Bingo calling, and dirt-track sprint-car racing.
Charles was a machinist at Webster Manufacturing and Hanson and Diversatool. He also delivered furniture at Decker's Furniture.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to the Mass at Church. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
