Chelly K. Mellott

Chelly K. (Beeker) Mellott, 57, of Old Fort, passed away at 6:50 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Chelly was born September 17, 1964, in Fremont, to Lane and Clara (Rogers) Beeker of Fremont. The fifth of five children, Chelly grew up with the love of four siblings and two super parents. Chelly a true rebel, but family always came first. On March 26, 1983 in Fremont, she married Craig Mellott who survives in Old Fort.

Three sons, came along in the next five years and made her very proud of her family. Chelly loved caring, raising and teaching her boys to drive. When the boys got married and the grandkids came she truly blossomed to another level. As the boys left the nest, fur babies came to fill the day for Chelly.

Other survivors include her three sons, Nathanial (Heather) Mellott of Fremont, Nicholas (Erin) Mellott of Old Fort, Matthew (Dawn) Mellott of Tiffin, eight grandchildren, Codie and Logan Bush, Javier Mellott, Lyllian Mellott, Nataleigh Mellott, Kennedy Mellott, Colton Mellott and Gage Mellott, three sisters, Cynthia (Dave) Kramer, Cheri (Mark) Horn, Chris (Dan) Berger and a brother, Richard (Rende) Beeker.

Chelly was preceded in death by her best friends, Linda (Dave) Trembath, Judy Bowling and her fur babies, Buddy, Cubby and Dottie Mae. At Chelly's request there will be no funeral services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
