Cherrie (Bird) Mulvane, of Bloomville, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the Willows of Tiffin after a five year battle with cancer, at the age of 76 years old. She was the heart of her family, who was always there offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.
Cherrie graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School class of 1967.
Cherrie worked at General Electric in Tiffin until she met her husband Cecil Mulvane and married on June 6, 1970 and then stayed at home to raise her two children in a good Christian home.
Cherrie was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bird in 1958 of Tiffin, and her son, Curtis Mulvane of Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 2022.
Cherrie is survived by her mother, Thelma (Jacoby) Terry of Tiffin, her husband, Cecil Mulvane of Bloomville, daughter, Gina (Joe) Wonder of rural Tiffin, sister, Diana Rubert of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Austin McDonnell of Dallas, TX, Kayla McDonnell of Columbus, three step-grandchildren, Josh (Heather) Wonder of Tiffin, Kelly (Jon Lewis) Wonder of Sandusky, Sean Wonder of Tiffin and six step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Cherrie will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
