Connie Sauber, 59, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
Connie was born on November 22, 1966, in Columbus, to Ronald Phillips and Marsha (Moore) Kretsinger. She met the love of her life, Craig Sauber, 25 years ago and they married on February 11, 2019, in Hawaii. Craig survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include her children; Sonia Bair of Findlay, Austin (Olivia Woods) Phillips of Tiffin, Justin (Elizabeth) Sauber of Columbus, Chris (Elizabeth) Sauber of Tiffin, and Alison (Caleb) Schubert of Republic, sister, Christie Huffman of Tiffin, and grandchildren; Jacqueline, Alec, Danielle, Gabriel, Bentley, Cole, Deacon, Charlotte, Scarlet, Liam, Penelope, Maddie, Peyton, Nolan, Milo, Mara, and one on the way.
Connie worked as a waitress and bartender at the New Riegel Cafe. She graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1986. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, watching her Cleveland Indians and Raiders, and having family cookouts in the backyard. Connie loved to have a good time. She also enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and traveling to her favorite vacation spot, Hawaii.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin. There will be no burial held at this time.
