Consuello "Connie" M. Meyers, 92, of Bloomville, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
Connie was born August 26, 1929, in Berea, OH to the late George L. and Ethel (Dair) Stinchcomb of Columbia Station, OH.
Connie graduated from Columbia High School in May of 1947, where she participated in sports and music and held many fond memories of her school years and her classmates, with whom she continued to have contact.
On August 29, 1948 at the Columbia Baptist Church she married Harold Meyers who preceded her in death on April 2, 1990.
Survivors include a son, David (Judy) Meyers of Salinas, CA, a daughter, Wendy (Gary) Agin of North Robinson, five grandchildren, Lisa, John (Rachel), Michael Meyers all of CA, and Maranda (Jim) Miller of Bucyrus and Matt Agin of North Robinson, eight great-grandchildren, Madison, Ethan and Sydney Furr of Bucyrus, Hunter, Jamison and Sage Meyers of Idaho and Benjamin and Wells Meyers of CA, two step grandchildren, Joshua and Brittany Miller of Bucyrus, and a step-great-great grandson, Elliott Miller of Bucyrus.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and their wives, Wilbur (Velma) and Wayne (Alice) Stinchcomb.
Connie was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ, a past member of the Bloom Community Grange, State and National Grange, Mother Hour Club, Farm Women's Club of Bloomville, a ten year employee of Bloomville School Cafeteria and a thirty-four year employee as a cook and dietary manager at the Ruffing Family Care Center in Bloomville, retiring in 2005.
Connie enjoyed her yard and garden work, taking trips to the Amish country and to California. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, county and state fairs where she received many awards for her baking. She also enjoyed delivering mobile meals for the nursing home.
Funeral services for Connie will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Tom Kagy officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
