Daniel Vogelpohl Obituary

Daniel W. Vogelpohl, 32, of Republic, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 26, 2024 in Tiffin. He was born July 18, 1991 in Oregon, to Steve and Nancy (Harris) Vogelpohl.

Daniel grew up in Elmore, OH graduating from Woodmore High School in 2009. After graduating high school he worked in manufacturing at MTD Products in Willard, OH while volunteering as a firefighter at Attica Fire Department. For the last eight years, he has worked at Webster Industries in Tiffin, OH. Daniel was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, but an also even bigger fan of his two sons, Weston and Gabriel.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Weston Vogelpohl and Gabriel Robinson, fiancé, Trinity Robinson, father, Steve Vogelpohl, siblings, Melissa (Jamin) Roe, Andrew (Chelsea) Vogelpohl, Kimberly Vogelpohl and Beth Gerding. He is also survived by Trinity’s family, Duane and Arlene Robinson, Brittany (James) Green, Whitney (Jason Dick) Robinson, many special nieces and nephews and Grizzly his trusted K9 companion.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Vogelpohl.

A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will take place Saturday, May 4, 2024 from noon until 3:00 p.m., at the Green Springs VFW Post 6067, 5900 St. Rt. 778, in Green Springs. True to Daniel’s devotion to family, his celebration of life will be a chance to bring family and friends together to share food and memories. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make monetary donations to a memorial fund for Weston and Gabriel may do so at any Fifth Third Bank under, Melissa Roe at any Fifth Third Bank.
