Darrell E. Whitmer

Darrell E. Whitmer, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at The Cleveland Clinic.

Darrell was born May 23, 1938, in Tiffin, to the late George and Dorothy (Graham) Whitmer.

Survivors include his children, Randall Whitmer of Tiffin, Patricia Roland of Fort Seneca, Ronda Morrison of Akron, Dara Edgerton of Canton, MI, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Garry Whitmer of Fostoria, three sisters, Audrey Callahan, Karen Wellman and Charlotte Scott all of Tiffin.

Darrell was the owner/operator of Cooks Food Center in Tiffin.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Sharrell Whitmer and Darren Whitmer and a brother, Lonny Whitmer.

There will be a private family graveside service held for Darrell at Fairmont cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
