David Auble Obituary

David O. Auble, Sr., 67, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at the emergency room at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

David was born on April 3, 1953 in Willard, to the late Orval and Bonnie (Denton) Auble. He married Brenda J. (Wilson) in Fostoria on November 29, 1974 and she survives in Bloomville.

Other survivors include his children, John (Roberta) Auble of Toledo, Allen (Bridget) Auble of Bloomville, David (Sunny) Auble Jr. of Bloomville, Kelly Auble of Maumee, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Linda Auble of Bloomville.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

David was a 1971 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Upon graduation, he went to work at Copeland in Fostoria, where he met Brenda, his beloved wife of 46 years. They soon moved to Bloomville to raise their four children. Dave worked hard to teach his children the importance of earning their way in life. He went to work every day, no matter the hour, no matter the conditions.

Dave was a longtime baseball coach in Bloomville. His teams won numerous championships at several age levels. Dave loved to watch all of the sporting events his grandchildren participated in. He was a fan of Tiffin Columbian Athletics, Cleveland sports, and most of all, his beloved Michigan Wolverines.

David retired from M-Tec and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tiffin where he was very active.

Funeral services for David will be held from 5:00-5:30 pm., on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Grace Baptist Church in Tiffin with Pastor Patrick Bottom officiating. Following the funeral service, there will be a Celebration of Life until 7:00. Attendance is welcome at either service, or both. The family requests that everyone attending the services please wear your favorite team gear or dress casually, as Dave’s favorite clothing was a Tiffin Columbian or Michigan t-shirt and shorts. There will be a private family burial held at Farewell Retreat cemetery in Republic.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church.
