David E. Hushour, 64, of Bloomville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Elmwood at the Shawhan in Tiffin.
David was born on July 9, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Lawrence and Jennibel (Hart) Hushour. He married Tammy (Coffman) in Republic, on June 2, 1984 and she survives in Bloomville.
Other survivors include his daughter, Chelsea (Bill) Griffith of Van Buren, a son, Chase (Adelyn Lafferty) Hushour of Findlay, two grandchildren, Brynlyn and Parker Griffith, two step grandchildren, AJ and Heidi Griffith, a sister, Kim (Blaine) Loper of Lakeland, Florida, grand dogs, Oliver, Oscar, Finn, Scarlet and Oakley and many nieces and nephews.
David worked as the sales manager for HT Hackney Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. David enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and watching Bryn and Parkers soccer games. David was a member of Bloomville Village Counsel, Knights of Columbus, Attica Counsel and was a graduate of Tiffin University. David was chosen as the 2025 Prom King at Elmwood at the Shawhan.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother, Mark Hushour and an infant sister, Jane Hushour.
The family would like give a special thanks to all the Elmwood staff and especially the fourth floor staff for all their love and care they gave to David.
There will be a Celebration of David’s life held at a later date. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
