Deborah S. McAfee, 68, of Tiffin and formerly of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.
Deborah was born February 1, 1956, in Zanesville, OH to the late Richard and Cora (Terrill) Vaughn.
Survivors include her son, Travis (Trish) McAfee of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Kassidy Heil, Cameron Koerper and Ash McAfee all of Tiffin, three brothers, Richard “Rick” (Cindy) Vaughn, Ronny and Donny Vaughn, two sisters, Valerie (Scott) Shaw and Kim (Fred) Sharrer, brother-in-law, Pete Caplinger.
Deborah retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Heath, OH. She enjoyed watching TV, Bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and going to their band and piano performances, gardening and fishing. Deborah also enjoyed raising horses and worked as a Ferrier for many years.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Shannon McAfee, a sister, Stacy Caplinger and a sister-in-law, Deb Stotts.
There will be a celebration of Deborah’s life held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Walkabout Creek Campground, 7375 Sugargrove Road, Chandlersville, OH 43727. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
