Delila M. Kissell

Delila M. Kissell, 97, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Delila was born on November 12, 1923 in Adrian, MI, to the late Bert and Martha (Smitley) Johnson. She married Robert A. "Bob" Kissell in New Port, KY, on July 9, 1949 and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2008.

Delila is survived by her children, Bob (Deb) Kissell and Anita Koons both of Tiffin, two sisters, Ginny Howell and Doris (Russ) Baker both of Jacksonville, FL, four granddaughters, Holly (Mike) Abernathy, Heather (Jason) Young, Stephanie (Ryan) Margarf, Nicole (Jason) Drew and nine great-grandchildren.

Delila retired from Tiffin Columbian High School in food service. She was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church and a 1942 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Delila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Bill, Al and LB Johnson.

There will be a graveside service for Delila held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Fairmont cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
