Dennis Athy Obituary

Dennis L. Athy, 60, of Tiffin, passed away at 7:23 a.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Dennis was born September 20, 1961 Willard, to Clarence "Chuck" Athy of Attica, and Birdie (Clabaugh) Kuhn of Attica. He married Sandy C. Athy and she preceded him in death and he later married Kathy (Benedict) in Tiffin and she survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include his children, Alicia Athy of Port Hueneme, CA, Jessica (Michael) Karl of New Washington, three grandchildren, Faith, Emmalynn and Sophia Karl, step-mother, Shirley Athy of Attica and a step-father, Jim Kuhn of Attica, a brother, Paul F. Athy of San Diego, CA, two sisters, Robin (Brian) Marker of Tiffin, Raycine (Wes) Knodel of Warren, MI.

Dennis worked as a laborer and also was owner/operator of the DutchTown DJ. Dennis was a member of the Tiffin Eagles and enjoyed traveling, camping, Nascar and classic cars.

Dennis was preceded in death by his step-mother, Sandy A. Athy.

Per Dennis's request, there will be no funeral services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
