Dennis A. Bowling

Dennis A. Bowling, 77 of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Bellevue Care Center.

Dennis was born September 26, 1945, in Fremont, to the late Clarabell (Baker) Rathbun and Raleigh Bowling. He married Judith (Sherman) in Green Springs on May 5, 1996 and she preceded him in death on January 13, 2020.

Survivors include his daughter, Tasha (Lonny) Caswell of Willowick, OH, a step-daughter, Misty (Chad Ramirez) Sherman of Tiffin, four grandchildren and a brother, Lonnie (Ike) Bowling of Fremont.

Dennis retired from Fremont City Schools as a custodian. He was a member of the Old Fort United Methodist Church. Dennis was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Judith.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2023 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until of the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be rendered by the United Veterans Council. There will be no burial held at this time.
