Diane M. Hilton

Diane M. Hilton, 72, of Fremont, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at Countryside Manor in Fremont.

Diane was born on October 1, 1951 in Fremont to the late Wilbur J. and Helen T. (Hoffman) Meyer. She married Jerry Lee Hilton in Fremont on May 7, 2010 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Christine (Jason) Glick of Fremont, three grandchildren, Brittany (Adrian) Johnson, Chelsie Sabo and Brandon Sabo, one step-granddaughter, Samantha Glick, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dr. James (Jinghua) of Perrysburg, John Meyer of Fremont, two sisters, Kay Gooslin and Teresa (Samuel) Schaeffer both of Fremont, a sister-in-law, Janet of Toledo, twelve nieces and nephews, twenty-three great-nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew.

Diane worked at Frisch’s Big Boy, Mr. Wigs and Serwins Restaurant all in Fremont. She enjoyed riding her bike, American Girl Dolls, sewing, baking, making candies, going on drives with her husband and just spending time with her grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Larry Meyer and a sister, Helen Meyer.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no funeral services or burial held at this time.
