Donald W. Bennett Jr.

Donald Bennett, 89, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin.

Donald was born January 5, 1934, in Tiffin, to the late Donald W. and Kathryn (Fought) Bennett Sr. He married Madonna (Wyss) Bennett and she survives in Tiffin

Survivors include his children Steven (Karen) Bennett of CO, Tanya (Michael) Ward of NC, Donna Bennett of Fremont, Diana (Mike) Perry of Fremont, Deb (Tim) Yandura of Tiffin, Monica (Steve) Diaz of Fremont, his sister Margorie Bennett of Tiffin, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-granddaughter on the way.

Donald was a well known barber who proudly owned and operated his own barber shop in Fremont for 15 years. His favorite hobbies included fishing, searching for antiques and old sports memorabilia, collecting guns, admiring old cars, and meeting his friends for breakfast at McDonald’s.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 10-12 at Truth Baptist Church in Tiffin with funeral services to follow. Burial at Fairmont Cemetery will follow immediately after the funeral services. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
