Donald Vaughn

Donald Vaughn, 73, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his residence.

Donald was born on February 16, 1948 in Shelbyville, IN, to the late Bob Comen and Betty Irene (Brinker) Vaughn.

Survivors include Donald's children, Angela (Steven Jr.) Fruth of Republic, Dawn M. (Rulber) Ponce-Chirinos of Jacksonville, FL, and Jason (Jamie) Vaughn of Tiffin, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister, Wilma “Willie” (Dennis) Knudson of Yuma, AZ.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Donna Loraine Vaughn.

Donald graduated from high school in 1966 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then went on to work as a machinist. He loved baseball, fishing, watching old westerns on TV, and collecting coins. Donald also enjoyed classic cars.

A memorial service will be held for Donald at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Rev. Darla Metz officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, IN at a later date.
