Donna J. Heibertshausen, 89, of Attica, passed away Monday morning May 16, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin.
She was born June 3, 1932, in Attica, the tenth child of Don C. and Zola B. (Fast) Hamilton. She married Harold E. Heibertshausen on June 4, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2001.
Donna is survived by three children, Norma Jean (Paul) Holmer, of Attica, Carol Ann (David) Williams of Attica, and Gary (Joyce) Heibertshausen of Alzada, Montana, seven grandchildren, Rachel (Don) McClenathan, Ben (John) Holmer, Sarah (David) Shinsky, Amanda Clarke, Melissa ( Alex) Wolf, Brian Heibertshausen, Lauren (Richard) Heibertshausen Inderrieden, four step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, Bradyn, Kailyn, Raelyn Wolf, and Carter and Camden Heibertshausen and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and six brothers, Earl (Rita), Harry (Hazel), Wilbur (Alice), Wayland (Savanah), Russell (Doris), Lester (Joan) and their wives, three sisters, Alice DeMuth, Marjorie (Harold) Altherr, and Leona Hamilton.
Donna was a 1950 graduate of Attica High School, a lifelong member of the Union Pisgah United Methodist Church of Attica and their sewing circle.
She loved sports from watching her brothers, and also watching her grandchildren playing T-ball, softball, baseball, volleyball, football, and basketball. She also enjoyed playing card, and dominos, with her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Donna will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday May 21, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, with Pastor Tom Kagy officiating. Burial will follow at Attica-Venice Cemetery in Attica. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday May 20, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral, and on Saturday from 9:30 am. until time of the services.
