Donna Faye Schmidutz

Donna Faye Schmidutz, 83, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 4:50 p.m., at her residence.

Donna was born on December 29, 1936 in Tiffin, to the late Willis and Opal (Schleter) Kear. She married Gene Arthur Schmidutz at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2001.

Donna is survived by her children, Diana Lamar of Tiffin, Daniel Schmidutz of Tiffin, Lisa Rivers of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Schmidutz of Tiffin, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, a brother, Jim Kear of Tiffin, two sisters, Nancy Suffacool of Fremont and Betty Brown of Tiffin.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Cynthia Ray and a brother, Ronald Kear.

Donna was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a 1953 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Funeral services for Donna will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with the Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be also held on Friday, from 4:30 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Veterans cemetery in Boulder City, NV and a later date.
