Eddy M. Jandereski Sr., 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
Ed was born June 26, 1938, in Bad Axe, MI, to the late Raymond and Regina Jandewski. He married Betty J. (Burley) in Cleveland, on January 4, 1957, and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2017.
Survivors include his two sons, Ed (Laura) Jandereski of Elyria, Todd Jandereski of Florida, two sisters, Marilyn Soper and Carolyn Hacker both of MI.
Ed retired from Goodyear in Brookpark after many years with the company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also a member of Merchant Marines and Tiffin Eagles. Ed was a World War I & II and Civil War buff, and he loved the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers baseball.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty and nine siblings.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 4-6 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will be held in Michigan at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Seneca County Humane Society or to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
