Edith E. Blott

Edith E. Blott, 85, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at her residence.

Edith was born November 21, 1939, in Carey, to the late George Franklin and Goldie Yota (Snook) McGown. She married Edmund E. Blott in Tiffin on April 10, 1989 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1996.

Survivors include her children, Paul Anthony Birch, Teresa Jean (Ken) West, Christine Anne (Jimmy) Grimes all of Tiffin, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Edith retired from ITT and Sterling Abrasives after 27 years with the company. She was a 1957 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Mark Christopher Birch, and Stephen Joseph Birch Jr., a daughter, Bernadette Marie Stephens, a brother, Alan McGown and a half sister, Florence DeAmicis.

There will be a private family service held for Edith at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will be held at Greenlawn cemetery to follow.
