Edward J. Heilman, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Toledo Hospital surrounded by his family.
Ed was born May 31, 1940, in Fostoria, to the late Alvin and Marian (Gillmor) Heilman.
Ed was survived by his children, Barbara (Kent) Shane of Upper Sandusky, Henry Heilman of Bettsville, Lisa (James) Kuhn, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard “Dick” Heilman.
Ed was a lifelong farmer. He was a former member of Old Fort Young Farmers, a former Old Fort Volunteer Fireman. He enjoyed going to many different sporting events, going to toy shows and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ed will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Rev. Marc Quinter officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
