Edward "Jay' Martin

Edward “Jay” Martin, 76, of Attica, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home.

Jay was a lineman for many years. He enjoyed golfing, the outdoors, playing cards with friends and family get-togethers. Jay worked with wood and could build just about anything.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Virginia Martin, his wife of 58 years, Rhonda (Bower) Martin, three children, Kimberly (Scott) Halcomb, Kelly (David) Conley, Kraig (Lisa) Martin and grandchildren, Jarron (Allyson) Reesman, Jillissa (Josh) Shade, Jalynn (Derrick) Heydinger, Brennan Martin, Collan Martin, Camden Conley and Jordan (Tiffany) Halcomb and great-grandson, Dylan Heydinger.

Graveside services for Jay will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Attica Venice cemetery in Attica. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
