Elizabeth "Beth" A. Myers

Elizabeth A. "Beth" Myers, 75, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:57 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at her residence.

Beth was born August 19, 1946, in Fairview Park, OH, to the late Dr. Robert H. and Evelyn (Iden) Nuss. She married John R. "Jack" Myers in Tiffin on June 10, 1967.

Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Myers of Tiffin, two sons, Peter (Renee) Myers of Tiffin, Paul (Kim) Myers of Queen Creek, AZ, five grandchildren, Ken (Chasity) Thomasson, Ashley (Daniel Fleckner) Myers, Derek Myers, Austin Myers, Dylan (Aryana) Myers, three great-grandchildren, Claudia Rae Fleckner, Brianna and Alex Thomasson, two brothers, Robert Nuss of Phoenix, AZ, Beth's twin brother, John (Kathy) Nuss of Apache Junction, AZ and a sister, Christine (Paul) Good of North Field, OH.

Beth taught 1 year at Bellevue School until her children were born then worked as a stay at home mother and raised her sons. When her children became school age Beth went back to work as Teacher/Administrator for the Mother Goose Pre-School at Tiffin YMCA for 26 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church where she was active with the senior choir, bell choir and the weed warriors. Beth was also a 1964 graduate of Fairview Park High School and later went on to graduate from Heidelberg University in 1968 where she was involved with their alumni and community choirs. Beth also enjoyed quilting.

A memorial service will be held for Beth at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Clayton Bailey, Rev. Doug DeVos and Rev. Katie Treadway officiating. There will also be visitation held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
