Elyse Ann Ramon was born on December 21, 1955, and died on August 31, 2023, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home.
Elyse was a beacon of compassion throughout her life. She dedicated her career to serve as a home health and hospice caregiver providing comfort and solace to those in their final moments. Elyse's unwavering faith in the goodness of humanity sustained her through all of life's challenges.
Beyond her career, Elyse's greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and son in law, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She showered her grandkids with love, cookies and cherished memories that will endure for generations. Elyse's nurturing spirit extended to her beloved husband, Ruben, whom she cared for with unwavering devotion until he passed away - we are joyful that they are reunited once again.
Elyse's life was a testament to her unshakable belief in the power of hope and the promise of a higher purpose. She faced adversity with resilience, always trusting that there was a plan greater than her own. Her final days here on earth were spent laughing, pulling pranks, singing songs and sitting outside her precious little house taking in all of God’s beauty in nature.
As we mourn the loss of Elyse, let us remember her as a woman of faith and joy, a dedicated wife and mother, a loving grandmother and a selfless caregiver who brought comfort and hope to those in their most vulnerable moments. Her legacy of kindness will forever inspire us all.
