Enza A. Fadley, 86, of Republic, passed away Wednesday morning March 24, 2021, at Elmwood Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing of Fremont.
She was born May 23, 1934, in Sycamore to Charles Franklin and Mary Lucille (Gregg) Bell. She married Robert W. Fadley on June 6, 26, 1952, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2006.
Enza is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Brian) Mc Cune of Hudson, Ohio, Becky (Bobby) Larick of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Diana (Dennis) Ruffing of Republic, one son, Jack (Tracy Hoover) of Canyon, Lake Texas, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, Lyn (Irene) Bell of Raleigh, NC., Lyle (Sheila) Bell of Littleton, Colorado, Michael (Sue) Bell of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Sue (Duane) Durbin of Myrtle Beach, SC., three sister in-laws, Kay Bell, Sylvia Bell, and Beulah Bell all of Sycamore, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Charles, Paul, Robert, Lewis, John, and Lester Bell, and one sister, Maryetta Hemmerly.
She was a member of the Republic United Church of Christ, The Rebecca Circle, the Red Hats, Soroptimist Club, Seneca Friends, served for eight years on the Seneca East School Board, and was a 4-H advisor or the Scipio Shamrocks, a 1952 graduate of Sycamore High School, and attended Bowling Green State University, and later graduated in 1982 from Heidelberg University.
Enza taught school at Willard Elementary, and later Sentinel Career Center, and later worked as an Out Placement Specialist at Russell Roget before retiring.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday March 27, 2021 at the Republic United Church of Christ in Republic, with Rev. Darla Metz officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville. Burial will follow in Farewell Retreat Cemetery in Republic.
