Ethel “Faye” Montgomery, 88, of Fort Seneca, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont.
Faye was born September 12, 1936, in Gage, KY, to the late Clifton and Meadie Craft. She married Lennard Montgomery in Gage, KY on June 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2023.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Mark) Runion of Fort Seneca, three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons and a family friend, Louise Imke of Green Springs.
Faye was a homemaker and a member of Rock Solid Church of God. She enjoyed gardening.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lennard, two sons, Chris and Craig Montgomery and all of her siblings.
Funeral services for Faye will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Chuck Snelling officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday, at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
Memorial contributions may be made to a church of the donor’s choice.
