Freda Perry

Freda M. Perry, 97, of Bloomville, and more recently of Tiffin, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

Freda was born on February 5, 1928 in Lykens, to the late William and Helen (Keppler) Geiger. She married Donald G. Perry on January 7, 1962 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1988.

Survivors include her nephews, David Koehl of Tiffin, Thomas (Lorie) Koehl of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Anderson of MI, niece, Carol (Craig) Smith of Tiffin, a great-niece, six great-nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.

Freda was a retired Registered Nurse at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, and was a member of College Hill United Church of Christ. She graduated from Lykens High School in 1946 and St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in 1949.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, niece, Emily Hemminger, and a sister, Marie Koehl.

Funeral services for Freda will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Karsten Snitker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday at Woodlawn cemetery.
