Gene Paul Brengartner

Gene Paul Brengartner, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Mercy Health - St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

Gene was born on July 20, 1940 in Detroit, MI. He married Angela (Ritter) in Kirby, OH on June 21, 1997 and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his children, Ricky Brengartner of FL, Penny Prater of KY, Scott Brengartner, Gina Brengartner, Suzanne Brengartner of Tiffin and numerous grandchildren.

Gene was a Jack of all Trades. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed playing games with his family, hunting and fishing and setting up a booth at the flea markets. Gene was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Cold War.

There will be a celebration of Gene’s life on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., until 12:00 p.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no burial held at this time.
